What you are actually preparing for

The 2026 structure below follows MUR Decreto Ministeriale n. 1005 and its syllabus attachment. Use the weighting to guide study time, but prepare the full syllabus because recent papers can concentrate heavily on a small number of topics.

Reading & General Knowledge

4 questions

Short-text comprehension, vocabulary in context, inference, plus knowledge from prior studies and broad cultural/civic awareness.

Logic & Problem Solving

5 questions

Deduction, conditional reasoning, quantitative problems, ordering, spatial/graphical reasoning and other rule-based logic.

Biology

23 questions

Official-syllabus biology: biomolecules, cells, genetics, evolution, biotechnology, human physiology and bioenergetics.

Chemistry

15 questions

Matter, gases, atomic structure, periodicity, bonding, stoichiometry, solutions, equilibrium, kinetics, redox, acids/bases and organic chemistry.

Physics & Mathematics

13 questions

Measurement, kinematics, dynamics, fluids, thermodynamics, electricity/electromagnetism plus algebra, functions, geometry, probability and statistics.

One 100-minute paper with five-option multiple-choice questions and negative marking.
